About the Books
The Voice: Words from God
The Voice: series came from a desire God gave me to write a single book nearly ten years ago. He told me to write myself into the story and that's how book one came to be. God's voice is the one thing that changed my life forever. He still speaks, but most people aren't sure how to hear. I wanted to write a Bible study about God's voice and that's how book two comes into being. These books fill the gap in Christian spiritual education. I wrote The Voice series because God called me to do it, but also because I want you to experience the empowerment that comes from hearing His Voice. Both books of the series are stand alone books. Words from God is more of an adventure, with testimonies of God's voice from cover to cover. The Voice: A Study is a full biblical teaching about God's voice with just a few testimonies to help equip and prepare the reader for their own encounter with God's voice.
The Voice: A Study
The Voice: A Study weighs in at about 30% scripture. This book on God's voice is different from many others out there in that the book bridges the gap between the believer and the prophets of the Bible. They were just as human as we are, empowered by the same Spirit of God that lives in believers in Christ. I've pieced together all the scriptures I could find in order to walk the reader into their own encounter with God. God speaks all the time. You just have to learn to listen and know what to look for.
About the author
God spoke to me as a kid on several different occasions, usually at night. He even gave me a vision of an iPod, years before they were invented. Our family didn't attend church much and I eventually forgot the conversations with God.
Years later, facing 10-30 years in prison for DWI's and theft, I started seeking God. Because of a loophole, I served two years in prison. After voluntarily entering a Christ-based rehab, God eventually reminded me of the conversations with Him as a kid. I remembered the vision and fell in love with hearing God's voice. This has led to this book series.
I'm convinced that the church will fully function as Jesus intended when we hear God's voice like Jesus did (John 12:50). We'll do greater things than Jesus did, just as Jesus said (John 14:12), when we hear God's voice and obey.
The Bible is everything we need for life and Godliness.
God's voice is real-time instruction for the moment and never contradicts the Bible.
My mission through GabeLiliedahl.com and The Voice: Series is to help the church get to that place by empowering individual believers through God's voice.

Dream Symbols
Below is a list of common dream symbols and their meaning. These symbols may have more than one meaning, but to keep it short there will only be one or two suggested meanings.
There are several symbol books and dream interpretation books which I highly recommend here. Sometimes you can interpret a symbol by simply putting the word spiritual in front of it. A police officer becomes a spiritual policeman - someone who has authority over you. Food becomes spiritual food, something from the word of God which nourishes you spiritually. A key is a spiritual key. Something you can use to unlock something that was closed off to you before. Here are some other symbols:
What does a car represent?
What drives you?
What does a school bus represent?
What does a plane represent?
What does a house and the things inside represent?
Consider the rooms below:
- Bedroom - a place of intimacy, usually with God
- Living room - a place in your life that is very visible to outsiders
- Kitchen - a place of the heart (where spiritual food is kept)
- Bathroom - a place for cleansing
- Toilet - for inner cleansing
- Sink - for outer cleansing, to get something off of you (perhaps a burden)
- Attic - things stored in the back of your mind
- Basement - basic issues
- Front yard - prophetic / future
- Back yard - things from the past
What do different body parts represent?
- Teeth - related to things you say
- Hair on your head - related to the things you think. Long hair could represent something you've been thinking for a long time
- Clothes - armor of God, clothed with Christ
- Bare chested - self-righteous
- Shoes - peace
